I need help on closing a letter about myself..?

Im writing a letter about myself, and introducing myself to a host family for a foreign exchange student program im applying to.. im having a lot of trouble closing the letter.. i had to write about obstacles in my life and in the last paragraph thats what i wrote about.. then i have this:

In the near future, I hope I can travel all over the world, and meet people from all different cultures. This would be a once in a lifetime experience for me, and I hope it’s a dream that I get to fulfill.

any suggestions on what to add? im completley lost

I would end it with stating how excited you are about getting to know them and their culture. A closing sentence like "I can't wait to see you all soon", or of the likes is a great closer.
