  1. how about cross stitching, theres counted, & stamped. Stamped, means the pattern is already on the material, & counted means you have to count the squares to sew. 1 wrong move though, the whole thing is messed up.

  2. You do not include much information about yourself such as your age, areas of interest etc.  None the less, there are many kinds of hobbies some less obvious than others.  For instance:

Select an historical figure and try to find out everything about them.  Compile a dossier on them that includes every known fact.

Collect things that are common but no one thinks to collect.

You like to draw, learn how to animate your drawings.

Photography is a good hobby.  Especially with digital technology.  Try taking photos of common objects but in different ways. You know, weird angles, lighting or contexts.

    Learn a foreign language.

Select an area of interest and learn all there is to know about it.  Become the resident expert on it.

Any of these thing are great ways to pass time and will make you a far more interesting person.

  3. Karate is cool, I took it up a couple of years ago. It's fun, keeps you fit, and is useful for self defense!

  4. hi i think you would like machine embroidery because that involves a computer and you can make really nice things and embroider your clothes. their is no limit what you can do with your imagination. you can do freehand embroidery on some machines so you could do embroidery of your paintings or animals

  5. Try cross-stitching! It's great fun, cheap, easy, and suits even for those awful rainy days!

  6. when you are shopping, go to the local crafts store!. Walk up and down the aisles of the store where the beginner crafting kits are displayed. Read the basic instructions on several packages. When you find one or two that look interesting take them home!!

These beginner kits are almost always complete so there is nothing else to buy at the moment. Read all the instructions and do the craft. Cost is usually less than $10 each!!

These make excellent gifts for grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, later on in the year.

Who knows, you might find something that tickles your mind and becomes a lifelong hobby. I love crochet, knitting, embroidery, beading, all kinds of other things I have found in these aisles.
