I need help on finding an old HBO complete series from the 80's?

The series is called "The girl, the goldwatch and everything" and my dad mentioned years ago that he loved that show and really wanted to see it again. I can't locate where I could buy it, help!

It's an HBO series I think, it came on in the early 80's and thats all I know.

Actually, it was a two-part TV miniseries from 1980. There is a sequel that isn't as good: "The Girl, the Gold Watch & Dynamite" (1981).

I can't find it on VHS or DVD, which is too bad because I'd like to see the original again.
