  1. i was libero for yearssss and just make sure you are able to swipe your fingers on the court. stay low! and don't allow your heels to touch the ground

    does this help?

  2. one thing that you might want to try is returning to the basics

-hit on your arm between wrist and elbow

-move with you legs (remember to keep them bent)

    -don't swing your arms

    hope that helps =)

  3. The most common error I see among volleyball players is how readily they rely on their arms to do all of the work.  True, your arms are obviously needed to play, but your lower body should play a large roll in your passing.  You should always play low to the ground, and stand up with your passes.  The jolt from your legs will spring your body up, and so long as you don't move your arms, the ball will go in whichever direction you put it and it will get enough air to move towards the center.

How fast you raise your body is based entirely on the situation.  Obviously if you're digging a hit from a 6'2" outside, you're not going to spring up like a jack-in-the-box.

  4. well I would ask someone who knows about volleyball and practice with them or you could practice with friends too! try it maybe you could try to improve along the way! or ask coach!

  5. if you havent been playing for a while you might not what be used to hitting it the right way. find somebody like a friend to help with showing what you are doing wrong. also you can try to hit it with more power. hope it helps

  6. Get into your regular low position, and when the ball comes, wait until it is right above your arms. Walk into the ball....meaning don't swing your arms at all. it should go higher and it give you more control.

    good luck!

  7. Just remember to keep low, don't swing, and never go on your heels.  If it is hard to keep low then in practice during passing drills put your hands flat on the ground till someone hits at you.

    Good luck!

  8. Well look at were your feet are pointed if they are bent and facing the direction you want your pass to go you should be fine just make sure your legs are bent and push up dont swing and you should be able to get a nice pass.

    Hope it helps :)

  9. Passing is all about footwork in volleyball, and leg movement. your arms should have nothing to do with passing. If you're receiving a serve or a spike, get low to the ground, and stick your arms straight out. That's ismply all you have to do, becuase the impact of the spike will just bounce off your arm. If you swing your arms or move your legs up, it will either create too much force (caussing the ball to go out) or it will just go out of control. If you are just making a regular bump pass, then just bend your legs, shoulder-width, and arms out straight. Once again, you dont want to swing your arms, becuase it'll just go over your head, or somewhere you dont want. So when the ball is hitting your arm, extend your legs and move forward at the same time, but without moving the position of your feet. So you want too kind of move your body forward as your legs extend. If you are passing long distance, then your best shot is to pass from the side. so it woudl be the same as passing forward (the same position), except you would be moving sideways. For this, you can move your arms just a little bit. But it would still be mostly all leg strength. Your legs would be doing the same action (but moving to the side) and your arms would kind of look like you were throwing a bucket of water. It's kind of hard to explain all of this on text, but i hope i helped at least a little!

Edit: oh , i forgot. Also remember that wherever you want the ball to go, you have to point your bellybutton to that direction. *except side passing.
