I need help on my public speaking please help!

I'm doing a speech on parents (I'm in yr 6) and i need some help.

what do you like about your parents?

what dont you like about your parents?

i know how hard this can be.

justthink how your parents treat you.

the times you like them, and the times you dont.

think of these reasons and write a few down.

put them into sentances and then which one sounds the best is probably the right one.

for example

the things i like about parents, is that they are really understanding and they help you out when needed.

and the things that arent so good about parents are the way they think they are always right and sometimes, never let you do things.

something like that will sound great!

Ok well this is what I would say!

I like my parents because they allow friends over and let me stay up late.

I dont like my parents because they can get really angry at me.

I love that they have looked after me for my whole life and put up with my moaning all the time. They always cook me lovely dinners. And they buy me cool stuff when they don't have to. And if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here typing this now.

What I don't like?

Well sometimes they are a little bit moany when I don't clean my room lol  :)

What I like about my parents is how they took their time to raise me to become the child I am today.

What I dislike about them is when then scold at me for things they disapprove of.
