  1. OBJECTIVE

    OBJECTIVE

To obtain a position where I can maximize in my management skills and an opportunity that utilizes my ability to be an energetic and motivating leader with proven ability to effectively manage both personnel and projects. Strong independent worker. An organized, detail-oriented, and conscientious self-starter, able to strategize and prioritize effectively to accomplish multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure.

this is from my resume of course you would change some things but its the jist of it.

  2. You can google "resume help" and find tons of sample resumes and cover letters. The best advice I have is to read up on what employers look for and then find examples in your own life that demonstrate those skills. Be sure you focus the cover letter and the resume to the job description: if they ask for someone who can multi-task point out something that shows you can do more than one thing at a time. It doesn't necessarily have to come from a job. Remember to toot your own horn and look outside the box for ideas.

  3. All good answers-- I personally prefer that resumes be written more simply than the jargon in the other post when I am hiring. Since I assume you are not seeking a career as an agent in a call center, you might want to write an objective that includes helping people understand the bus system's routes and fare structure. Frankly, I would not worry too much about an objective for a call center postion. The managers will want to see that you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and dealing with stressful situations. Emphasize that you have good communication skills and are a patient person, but understand the need to get the information to the caller in a concise manner (time = money in a call center). Look at your experience and write up those jobs in a way that emphasizes these sorts of things. The cover letter should convey your sense of enthusiasm, denote some knowledge about the company (check their website) and a willingness to learn new things and help people.

    Best of luck to you!
