  1. well its kind of hard to tell you in writing. you should  take lessons. but this is what i can tell you:

when you toss the ball leave your hand in the air until your about to hit the ball because that will make like leverage so you turn to get momentum and like if you drop your hand too early your loosing power you can put into your serve. once you get comfy with that you should learn how to serve with a continental grip so you can get spin on it (continental is what you hopefully use when you do volleys)

then when you get better and better put some jump into it! im 14 turning 15 on july 13 and i take lessons so i recently got a new serve and so this has really been working for me. also where you put you racket is like not a whole wind up. do you know Roddicks serve? if you do you notice how he pulls his arm straight back you do this because you dont want to waste the time and it causes least power when you do a full "wind up"

  2. just toss it as high as you need to hit it. i see too many players toss the ball higher than they need to and it just screws up their timing. unless you have a rhythm going, just mimick andy roddicks serve. he takes the racket straight back, bends his elbow, and explodes. you can also notice him having a very low ball toss because thats all he needs. none of that sharapova tossing c**p.

  3. 1) Turn your body, use all of your body parts to help generate power.

    2) Serve as if you were going to throw a ball.

    3) Almost all of the speed from a serve comes from flicking your wrist. Think of it like a whip. You arent going to get much of a whip with a stiff wrist. But a whip will be very painful if you flick your wrist.

Heres a good website to learn the basics.

  4. What kind of help? The best advice I ever got was when Australian Open champ Petr Korda looked at me serving and came over and told me to take more time between serves and even during the serve. He told me to do the toss and take back in slow motion, focus on the ball and then explode into contact. It added about 10 mph to my serve and added a ton of consistency. Hoe that helps a little.

  5. There is just about no way that someone can answer this question since it is about as vague as it can be.  Be more specific plz.

  6. well... here are videos that can help you http://www.tennis.com/yourgame/instructi...

  7. Not enough detail, but I'll try to help. First, make sure you are TOSSING THE BALL IN FRONT OF YOU!!!!! That is key for a good serve.

Next, bend your legs, and make sure your racquet is behind you head. Don't turn your body. Bend your legs and jump, and the softer you hold the grip, the more power you will get on your serve. Try to add some extra pop (spin) if your missing a lot of first serves.

    Hope that helped!!!
