  1. What I would do is print out some flyers that has all of the information concerning the group. When your walking in the hallways just hand them out to people. For a fundraiser I would make something like bracelets and sell them for $1.

  2. A great idea. I applaud your ambition. My district's high school has been working on raising awareness and donations for Darfur for several years. Here's their web site:

I think your priority has to be finding an adviser that really wants to work on your idea. You need an adult that is committed to the idea to help you with all the red tape that is involved in starting a new club. I'm not saying you can't do it on your own, but an idea this big needs support and a teacher that cares as much as you do will give you the help your cause deserves. Showing them the website might show them what can be done (I wonder if they would want to work with you and start up an annex club at your school? That way you could get ideas from each other and combine your efforts). Our high school has had national media attention due to their efforts. If there is a teacher in mind, email them now Active teachers check their email in the summer Get things rolling now before the school year starts.

I am so impressed with your passion toward this cause. Be yourself, show your passion, and go for it!
