  1. ZIP files are containers for other files, you cannot play them as a movie/song.

You'll need to open the ZIP file and retrieve the contents of it so you can play those files.

I've attached a link for a free ZIP program to allow you to do this.

  2. Saying that using anything but WinZip or WinRAR is retarded. Is a bit strong, I've been involved with software from 1986 and nowadays use almost anything BUT Winzip and WinRAR.

There are many free and excellent compression software out there.

Just download one of the free compression utilities, ANY one for that matter, and install it.

Next time you double-click on a zip format (compressed file) it will open automatically inside your utility from where you can extract it to the location of your choice. Thereafter you can use it like a normal file

  3. try extract now is easy to use and free

  4. don't try any 3rd party c**p. USE ONLY WINRAR or WINZIP. Those are tested and using anything else is retarded.

  5. you can use a free program called winRAR. it extracts .RAR and .ZIP files. It is free and you can google it and download.

  6. try winzip to extract the files first dude
