I need help painting my room, any tips? or how to's?

i have no idea how to paint my room and i cant get no help.. so i need MAJOR help. thanks!

first - move all furniture out of the room, or move it to the center of the room and cover it with plastic, as well as the floor.

next - tape of the molding and anything else you don't want painted, using painters tape. it's blue, and can be found at Menards, Lowes, and other paint stores. make sure to take you time to properly tape everything off, so that you don't find any paint where you don't want it!

next - you're going to want to prime the walls. i'd ask what type of primer to use at a paint store. usually 1 to 2 coats of primer is good.

then - you're going to want to apply 2 - 3 coats of paint (again ask a professional)

-when applying the primer and paint, you'll want to use a brush to edge off the room. take the brush, apply a little paint, and CAREFULLY paint along the each by the ceiling and the floor. then use a roller and liberally and smoothly apply the paint to the rest of the wall.

-make sure to open an window for ventilation, and to allow the proper amount of time in between each coat for it to dry. using a fan is also helpful. wear old clothes. have fun.

1 First you prime the wall with primer paint

2Then you paint the wall with normal paint after your primer dries

3When painting and priming make sure you paint in a vertical direction putting the paint on evenly and not leaving any drips in the paint Good Luck

Lowe's has really good paint so you can ask them what to do or your can buy a roler brush and a 2 inch paint brush then buy painters tape normaly blue and a tarp to go on to the floor than a paint tray roll the roller brush in the tray then aplay put the painters tape on the boarter of the ceiling and floor and doors,windows get the other paint bruch and paint those areas hope i could help and p.s. small rooms nuetral big rooms does not mater
