I need help painting my room?

maybe black wall with your fav. color of polka dots?

I'm not sure. Just use your fav. colors and decorate with black pillows and a lamp , furniture or something.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would look cool to paint your room "amethyst quartz" (# 7197) from their SandScapes faux finish collection. The sand texture of the paint add a really interesting element to your room.

are u redoing ur intire room? If so, do u have anything picked out? it's best to think of the paint last. what color is ur bedspread? if it's multicolored, pick a MINOR color in it u like and use that, have it matched so ti's not off though, that could look bad. wall morals look nice. choice a pic u like have if ur artsy u could paint it on ur wall and then have just a back drop kinda thing, u could even do it across all the walls, or a different on each, or just on wall wall, alsmot like an accent wall, only keep the background the same color throughout. i'm not big on accent walls.

what's the dominat color in ur room? for me, it's rather mixed. i think it's cause of the random things and the fact it's nowhere the way i like it, but it oculd be black, so i'm thinking of doing deep red walls.

do u have band posters? if so, best bet is that they're majorty black, so i'd stay away from black walls, cause the posters would look odd hanging on it.

what color are ur current walls? do u like them? white is neutral, and can have just about anything done to it.

if the room's big, anyhting's fine, small and just a warning, dark walls can make it look smaller, but that's not always a bad thing, cause it can be worked around with good lighting and all to give it a comfy feeling of who u are.
