...and FAFSA gave me a 7988 EFC. I work enough to pay the mortgage and bills, but not for food and tuition. I just need like $400 more per month to get through school and I have no family support. Thanks.

  1. Just a word to the wise, you generally don't get federal financial aid unless you are enrolled at least half-time (which is six hours at my school).  So, I would check with my school and see what half-time is.  After that, take exactly that many credit hours.  That way you can maximize you work time, minimize school time, and get the most amount of aid possible.

Take out the maximum allowed with the federal loans.  AVOID at all costs private lenders to get you through school.  With federal student loans, you don't have to start paying back until after you graduate.  Also, if you qualify for subsidized Stafford loans, you won't have to pay interest while you're in school.

    Good luck.

  2. have you ever tried dancing it pays real good for male and female

  3. Have you tried to apply for financial aid through your school?  You will have to borrow the money, but it can be done.  That's how I went to school - student loans.  I didn't qualify for grants because I was working.
