  1. It looks like a pretty good camera. One downside for a photography camera is it doesn't have a detachable lens, so you can't use different lenses. Those tend to be a bit more expensive though.

  2. Hello hello! I recently bought a Fujifilm finepix S1000FD. and I must say that its a good cam. The settings are easy to use. The only problem ive been having with it is that there are noise when I take a picture on Auto mode (if your still planning to buyit). other then that, its a good cam for photography. I hope this helps.

  3. It's a good camera for photography. So what if you can't attached a different lens, it has 12 X zoom power.  It has a manual setting which is a good learning tool to be a photographer. The grip is nice actually, it gives you a better grip than those compact ones. For $250 it is not a bad camera. "Good Photography" is upto the person's eyes/Point of views. You build a good eye for photography, and you can use any camera. Concentrate on your compositions. Check out some photography books at your library and see why they are working. Symmetry doesn't always work, and it gets to be boring - something to think about.
