  1. butterfly kisses, stealing cinderella

    something like that

  2. innocence - sara buxton

    love me - national product

    thunder - boys like girls

love you out loud - rascal flatts

  3. I agree with Kim S!  My dad and I danced to Unforgettable too (but I had the one that was changed so that it sounded like Nat King Cole sang with his daughter Natalie!)  It was absolutely beautiful and a wedding night in general is UNFORGETTABLE!!!

  4. rhythm is a dancer

  5. "What a Wonderful World!", by Louis Armstrong

It's something from their era and if you listen to it, you will love it too.  It's something they can dance to.

  6. a waltz?

  7. my heart will go on or the power of love- celine dion

  8. 2pac gansta party

  9. I danced to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland, but depending on the step-parent situation, that may not be applicable.  There's also "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw.  Again, look at the lyrics first.

I like "Unforgettable" but it always struck me as an odd choice for a parent dance, as it falls more under the romance category.  But the duet with father/daughter may be why it's so popular.

I also second (third, fourth, fifth) Butterfly Kisses and Stealing Cinderella.

All these traditional father/bride songs may not work for your mom. Good luck.

  10. UNFORGETTABLE on Natalie Cole's C.D. of her dad's, Nat King Cole songs.

    Natalie Cole: Unforgettable

(duet with the late, great nat king cole)

    "Unforgettable, thats what you are

    Unforgettable, though near or far

Like a song of love that clings to me

How the thought of you does things to me

Never before has someone been more

    Unforgettable, in every way

    And forevermore, (and forevermore)

Thats how youll stay, (thats how youll stay)

    Thats why darling its incredible

    That someone so unforgettable

Thinks that I am unforgettable too

    (musical interlude)

No, never before has someone been more

    Ooh unforgettable, (unforgettable)

In every way, (in every way)

    And forevermore, (and forevermore)

Thats how youll stay, (thats how youll stay)

    Thats why darling its incredible

    That someone so unforgettable

Thinks that I am unforgettable too"

In my humble opinion I believe this would be the perfect song for them.

    Best wishes to all!
