I need help planning my BRIGHT NEON GLOW party! please give me some tips/ideas! :]?

So i'm turning 14 next weekend and i'm soo thrilled!

I DON'T want my party to be lame and kiddie since i'm turning 14 and most of my friends and family are going to be there.

anddd most importantly my crush!<3

i really want to impress him!

So please, if you have any thoughts for entertainment, decorating, invitations, what I should wear..

ANYTHING- please let me know : )

so it's not just my party.

Buy a few black lights and cover the room windows with dark sheets so that there is as less light as possible. have every one wear bright neon colors. then u cn wear white and u will pop. use bright decorations. also get big pieces of black paper and paint on it anything you want in yellows, pinks, etc. all bright colors. also brite eye make up would look cool 2. u cn also get glow sticks. use neon paper for the invitations.

for my b-day, i got a different kind of stationary for each person&#039;s invitation, so that each one was a kind of inside joke lol for my fourteenth (or maybe it was fifteenth?) I did a laserquest thing

and for my sixteenth, we did a scavenger hunt at the mall, it was awesooommmeee

jumpers are cool. i&#039;d suggest not wearing something too dressy, in that case.

entertainment... know any local bands? they&#039;re always on the lookout for oppertunities (just make sure you like them first)

don&#039;t go too over-the-top for decorating, i guess.

you could go out to lunch, then come back to the rest of the party, if you wish.

hmm... anything i forgot?

Wow that an awsome theme for a party!!!!

Well i also just turned 14 so i know how you feel with the expectations....

As for the glow part, you can get a ton of glow sticks and pass those out when its dark, you can also get custom made balloons and plates...your colors can be pink, yellow, green, orange, purple, and blue (all neon of course). You can also make bracelet&#039;s with beads the same colors as your theme and pass those out to whoever wants them...you know kinda like a rave style.  And the music is your choice....oh yeah and make an awesome colorful cake!

There are companies on the Internet that sell lots of glow products - much more than just the necklaces and glow sticks.

I&#039;d recommend getting plastic &quot;ice cubes&quot;, or drink glasses, that have LED lights in them. (Some of the products are alcohol-related, but you can of course use them for soda.)

have the party outside at night. dancing and food on the patio. jumper outside. everybody gets neon glow necklace and braclets and take neon glow sticks and sting them from the gutter or something.  have a sweeeet party!!!

You should have a blue or green punch.  I think Hawaiian Punch has a blue and green.  Then serve it in clear cups with a glow stick in each cup so everyone&#039;s punch glows!

A black light is fun to use. It&#039;ll even make a white shirt glow!! They&#039;re cheap, too. We got one from radio shack for under 10 bucks!
