Question:

I need help please! 10 points for best answer?

Next hour I have health class and I did most of it but can't think of the rest. We have 3 categories (physical, mental, social) and have to come up with 10 things for each on what we do or could do to keep it up. The physical and social are harder than I thought they would be. No, I didn't forget about it or wait til last minute, I just ran out of ideas and time. Please help! 10 points for best answer! Thanks! : )

  2. physical - regular health exams, physical exercise, drinking enough fluids, staying away from tobacco, staying away from legal and illegal drugs, regular dental checkups, taking frequent breaks at work, walking or bicycling instead of driving a car, walking stairs instead of taking the elevator.

    social - spending time with family and friends, contributing to a positive atmosphere, resolving conflicts, helping others, doing volunteer work, reading up on things that interest you.

  6. physical: play sports, work out, go for walks, swim at the beach/pool, p.e class, eating right, going on hikes, working...

    social: meeting people, making friends, keeping friends, socializing with people in line, going to parties/get togethers, work, being on a team...

    social:  limit tv and computer time, talk to people, join clubs, try to make new friends, keep in touch with family, write letters to elderly relatives who are not in the area, join sports teams to learn teamwork

  9. i feel bad for you, but isn't it like the second day at school?

    try things that work for all three - like learning to roller skate. working with dogs is a good one.  join a club at school.  how about smiling more, or nit saying anything mean about people.  Eating healthy, or even better discussing healthy eating with friends.

                don't become absorbed in one relationship

    Physical: work out (duh)

                   eat Healthy

                  get good sleep

                  combat stess ( which can make you sick/give you migraines)

                  take multi-vitamin

                  regular doctor check ups

                  Yoga

                   join a gym

                   walk your dog

    I have some ideas you could try so here goes:

    Regarding physical:

    1 - Don't park in the space closest to a store, park further away and walk

    2 - When talking on the phone, stand instead of sit

    3 - While watching TV instead of sitting, try doing jumping jacks during commercials

    4 - Make it a habit to exercise at least one hour 3 times per week

    5 - You're right this is not easy, but I hope these have helped!

    Regarding social:

    1 - Get involved in an exercise class, thus you are keeping up with the physical and the social all at once

    2 - Make a point to keep in touch with a friend or two on a regular basis

    3 - Go to your local hospital, community center, nursing home or the like to volunteer your time in whatever way is needed where you would have interaction/contact with other people

    4 - Volunteer at a school - kids are great!

    5 - Invite family and/or friends over once a week for game night

    6 - Running out of ideas!
