I need help please i need to know how to make a model of earth's plates?

I need to make a model of the different types of plates in the earth. Please give me some idea plz

you should use paper mache.  What you can do is get a cardboard sphere or something that you can cut a hole into but keep its shape.  Make sure the material will let a little light through as well.  

So what you want to do is cut a fist sized hole in the bottom of the cardboard.  Then look up a map of the plate boundarie around the world.  Have something that will block out all the light lay it out flat.  somehow overlay a map of the world on top of the light blocking material and cut cracks and openings to match the plate boundaries from the other map.  Then over lay the light blocking material as well as the overlaying map onto the sphere to make a globe.  Cover and recreate the map using paper mache and paint (it should be simple because you just have to follow the lines of the map).  Then place a red or yellow light bulb inside the sphere (where we cut the hole earlier).  This will then shine through the cracks you made.  This will match up with the map and the paper mache map so that the light only shines through where there is a plate boundary.  It should give the plate boundaries clear definition and give it a nice glow.  the difficult part is finding the right materials (ie the spere that will allow light through and the other material that will not, but will still be able to be cut.))
