  1. If you want to save money go to walmart and buy an ampkit. Or if you want it to be good quality go to best buy. You need ground wire, remote wire, rca jacks, put about a 6 guage power wire from the battery, and some speaker wire for your subs. also get good fuses for your battery wire and for your amp

  2. You will need cables to connect your head unit to your amp and cables to connect your amp to your subs.

Firstly, I assume your amp is 2 channel (rather than 1 channel or 4 channel).  This means that you need to connect 1 set of RCA cables for each channel to the 2 subs.  Get a good quality set which has gold plated connections.  Should be no more than 10-15 bucks a set (not sure where you live, but in Australia I bought mine for 15 AUD).  If you have a 1 channel amp you will need to buy a Y-splitter which splits the channel into 2 (to drive the 2 subs separately).  I hope this is not the case, as splitting channels reduces sound quality and loudness dramatically.

Secondly, you will need speaker cable to that connects your amp to your subs.  Generally speaking, the thicker the better (as  there is more 'room' for the signal). JayCar is a good source for cable.  You would need about 3-5 metres (for each sub) depending on the distance between the amp and the subs.

Check out the manual which has more detailed wiring instructions.  If you are competent, do the install yourself. It will save you a **** load of $$$.
