I need help regarding openssl.?

I have xampp installed on Windows Pro Sp3 and drupal 6.4 is up and running I want to configure the smtp on drupal so i downloaded smtp module for drupal 6.4 which is not an official release but when I try to configure it I cant use ssl because it says that ssl is not enabled. I downloaded from here "http://www.slproweb.com/products/Win32O... I installed it and enabled it in the php.ini but i still get the same message ssl is not enabled. Am I missing something here PLEASE I REALLY NEED HELP, I am a noob at this.

You did not post the errors, may be you can contact a PHP developer at website like http://definitivelab.com/ .
