I need help relocating from Florida to NYC

I am looking to move from Florida to NYC within a year, and I need some tips on the best way to get the ball rolling. I don't know where to start. Do you find a job first, or do you sell the cars move to the city then find the job? Ugh so overwhelmed! Any hints or tips would be a great help!
