I need help reseting my IP address?

Here's the thing, I was banned from a chat site for defending my son against these sick fuks who were saying nasty things about him (my son is 4 years old by the way) well my IP address gets banned and the other people are still on there, I need to change my IP address so that I can log back in and speak with the guy that runs the site, does anyone know what I can do? my computer is a windows vista

  1. Changing you IP address may work or may not

    Here are some ways to change you IP Address

    1. Click Start > Run > Type in "CMD" then Type in "ipconfig/flushDNS", then type in "ipconfig/release" Wait 10 sec, Then Type in "ipconfig/renew" (Most likely not work)

    2. Unplug your modem, router for 24 hr. Then replug it back in and it should change

    3. Call your ISP provider and they should be able to change you IP address no problem (Reccomended!!!!)


  2. The IP address you're referring to is assigned to you by your ISP.  It will change when the lease expires.  Nothing you can do on your local machine will change it.  Are you sure they banned you by IP and not just the account?
