I use Windows Vista, and I recently tried to restore my machine due to a error of sorts that Microsoft assisted me with. My machine acted like it had frozen halfway through the installation of some programs, so I restarted the machine and found that it didn't boot up to the installation of the programs, and instead booted Vista normally without the programs! Many of the programs I do need in a couple days and don't have time to buy/download them all, so I just want to restore it once again overnight. I recall using a program called "Restore Manager" (i think) and would like to activate that program once again. I use a Gateway FX laptop that I purchased in March. I'm no genius when it comes to computers, so please leave instructions on how to activate Restore Manager in a detailed and understandable fashion. THanks!

  2. With Vista you should have got a ReBoot disk, pop that in and let it clear out everything and reinstall everything... or, you can start windows in Safe Mode.
