  1. ~~United Healthcare has the largest network of docs to choose from. My husband and son both have them and claims are paid promptly and the customer service has been excellent. Compare the costs and see what you like best. I have heard some not so good stories on Aetna too, but they have been around a long time. When I worked in medical insurance (for a group in mental health) I liked United Health Care, much easier to deal with for help with the patient care.~~

  2. I've had them both and they're both good.  Look at the price and the benefits.  Check out the networks as well to see where docs are.  Also look at indiviudal plans to make sure getting it through your employer is a good deal.  Group insurance costs more so unless the employer is paying a big chunk of it you may be able to get a better deal on your own.
