I have a RAZR V3xx and I have the mini memory card inserted in it. I used the music program "Audacity" and made the file short enough to be a ringtone. I put the file on the memory card and I am able to play the file on my phone with the music player, but then when I go to change my ring and pull up the list of choices the ones from my memory card aren't listed. I looked into it a little further and the rings that I have downloaded from AT&T are marked as MP4 files and the ones I made are MP3s. Do you think this is the reason they don't show up when I want to apply them as a ring? Can MP3s be converted to MP4s? In the Audacity program there is an option to export the file you've made as an Ogg Vorbis, MP3, or a WAV....what is Ogg Vorbis? Please help! Thanks!

  1. VENTONES.COM

    free and safe

click on your carrier, follow instructions on how to set your ringtone.

    do you have internet?

for at&t i think you should have internet. maybe it is why you can not set your ringtones, just a guess.

i use ventones and have at&t as my carrier using ventones, the only free site i trust.

  2. Well on most phones they don't read mp3 files as ring tones. your gonna have to change the file into a .3g2 file
