I am earning a few points towards frquent flyer miles on WindowsLive, and it said that if I redeem my points for the frequent flyer miles, they will put it in my frequent flyer account. How and where do I get one? If there are many....which is the best (easiest to use, cheapest for me...etc).

Thank you soo soo much!

  1. Get a credit card that issues airline miles.    They can accumulate pretty fast if you use the card for gas and groceries.  Pick the card that gives miles to the airline that you would be using the most.

  2. Windows Live offers miles for seven different airlines -- Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, Hawaiian, Midwest, and US Airways.  Which one you choose depends, I think, on how easy it would be easy for you to earn miles from other sources.  You might want to choose American, for example, if you live in Dallas or Chicago, as those are AA's hubs.  The same goes for CVG, ATL, or SLC -- those cities are Delta hubs, meaning Delta might be a good choice.

You'll definitely be able to sign up for an account at each airline's website, but you'll probably want to read each website's program details to see which one would be best for you.  I choose American as I fly them most often, but that might not work for you as well as it does for me.
