  1. Well I can totally relate with you. Growing up with my mom I moved ALL the time.. My 7th grade year I moved around 7 times (all different schools) It was VERY hard to get adjusted and meet new people each move/school. All I can really say, is it just happens. I can't explain it. My 8th grade year (new school) I somehow managed to meet friends the first day. You just find connections with others, and its unexplainable. I wouldn't sweat it. I am sure my answer makes NO sense right now, but in a few weeks you will know exactly what I am talking about. There is nothing special you can do or bring to school to make others drawn to you. You just need to be yourself and you will find with in a week you will have made connections and so forth.

Good luck in your new school, I am sure you will do just fine!

  2. i was say your best bit, is by joining clubs that your interested in... it's the quickest way to meet new people and form new friends.

  3. I started a new middle school when I was going into 8th grade too. :) So it sucked that everyone knew each other from 6th grade or 7th and I knew no one. It didn't help that I was shy either.

But since you're outgoing, just start talking to people and get to know them. Find people who share similar interests and become friends with them. I'm sure if you like them, they'll come to like you as well. ^^ Most people are actually very accepting of new people.

  4. Make friends with the students near you in a class.  If your teacher lets you work together in partners or a group, find someone you think is similar to you.  Join a sport or a club.  Just be friendly and willing to be the first person to say hi.

  5. i say smile more and frown less.  engage people in conversation and remember to really listen.  Try not to complain or moan and groan about too much....

    oh, and pray...
