i am taking SAT on this october and i am worried. and i have never took SAT before. and i will be senior next year so i also need to ready for my college. and i am really not good at english and math. is there any way that i can get decent scores on SAT ? i don't have any tutor and i don't go to any SAT Prep school(academy. so i just bought some SAT book from college board and other one is 2400 kaplan book. is there any other recommendation for SAT book? and how should i prepare for it? i haven't prepared it at all.. and i can't concentrate for a long time. which studying SAT is pain in my a** and whenever i do pretest on math part on SAT book, i don't get most of the problems expecially on math part.. and i am stuck with it. is there any other SAT book that can help me with math also? and any good advice? i really need some help

  1. I initially got 1700 on my SAT's as well. I used TutorFox.com's sat guide and the Princeton Review's sat guide in order to improve my scores. Both books extensively cover all the information needed to do well on the test. I eventually got a 2200+. I highly recommend those two books.

  2. the first time i took the sats in march didnt study AT ALL and i got an 1860...then i took them again in may and i studied a loottt...i got this princeton book with 11 practice sat questions and i just did all of them which really helped and i ended up with a 2260 =]]]]] so yeah the best way to study is to just do a bunch of practice questions...cause like i took ap calc this year and i did really bad on the math the first time...just do a bunch of practice questions you just need to get used to the type of questions the sats ask...no review book is gonna help you do that you just need to do questions yourself...hope this helped!

  3. I would attend a prep class, and do tons of problems. Yes, it will be a pain in the back but then once you get over the hump, you will be thank in October. I know, it's all about patience.
