Ok I have a job but I need a new one a full time one I am currently 18 , I saw a post on craigslist about a receptionist possition for a beauty salon, full time plus commision, and they said email them my cover letter, so what exactly is a cover letter and how to write one, please help me give me an exmple asap

(I am going to college in august for now I want a full time tho, then when I go to college become part time or if I can be still full time)
