I'm planning to interview with a missionary so I can to a 3-page report about them. Does anyone know any basic questions I could use for my interview? And should I also use a tape recorder? Thanks.

  1. Talk to them about their work. Who they are ministering to. What joy this is giving them. How God called them to the mission field. What hardships they have to face, such as being far removed from civilization as they know it, or being far from loved ones. What difficulties they face, such as learning another language, or accepting another culture. What new foods they have discovered. What old foods they really miss. What success they have had - are they seeing people responding to Jesus? Do they think that their future will be on the mission field? Are they growing spiritually? Are they more dependent on God?

Just show an interest in them. They will most likely be happy to share of their life experience with you.

  2. "How do you initially approach people to begin spreading God's word?"
