I need help trying to figure out why programs will not work on a 64 bit Vista operating system. ?

I tried to download Diner Dash 2 from Yahoo, and they said my operating system doesnt support the program. Another program my kids use wont work either. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I am not computer literate. I need help!!!!!!

Hi,

There are 2 options for failures in here:

1. the application (program), cannot be installed on your 64 bit Vista. If this is the case, then I guess that there is nothing that you can do.

2. the application (program), cannot run on your 64 bit Vista. If this is the case, then you can try to run the application as windows xp service pack 2.

This can be done by going to the application directory->right click on the exe file->properties->compatibility->run this program as windows xp sp2.
