I need help turning a Static IP into a Dynamic IP while using Mozilla Fox Fire. Can anyone help?

  1. Odd question. Most people want a static IP instead of Dynamic. Either way it isn't with your browser it is in your network settings. If your ISP has you set up with a static IP address then I have no idea, but if not then make sure that in your network connections you are set to obtain your ip automatically. This is in properties then tcp/ip properties. If you are just looking to change your ip then you can do it through there as well. Just make sure that you get the rest of your configurations first. In command prompt type ipconfig /all to get the rest of your info. Hope that helped


  2. Any chance you could explain this better? I know a lot about setting up static IP addressing and dynamic IP addressing, but not why Firefox would figure into the conversation specifically. What is the problem and what are you trying to do?
