I need help w/ an acting resume?

ok so i how can i write a convicing resume w/ almost no professional experience to show that i really want a part or to make it seem like i am good or something and really hope this question makes sence haha

It is okay to be inexperienced, because all actors at one point started with nothing.  I would reccomend putting whatever expercience you do have on your resume, and make it as professional as possible.  You can do this by adding a headshot that has no fancy editing, having your resume be typed, and by having no spelling errors.  In the end whoever is casting for the show will cast based off of talent, not experiance.  Good luck!

  3. Don't tell lies on your resume, it'll just cause you to look bad later and damage future chances. An acting resume is very cut and dry - what shows have you done, where did you do them/who directed them, who did you play. There is no room for "padding," though you can make yourself more marketable by paying special attention to the special abilities section. Your only hope is to make your audition amazing and get more experience to put on your resume. (If you're still in school, throw yourself in your drama department. There will be lots of opportunities to gain experience fast in technical theatre AND acting.)
