I need help want to go grad school for sports management but dont know where to start?

Start with an internship with a major sports team.  I do lots of work with the Cleveland Cavaliers and have a friend that works with the Cleveland Browns.  My contacts in both organizations say to start with the main sport's teams web site and search for internships on their web site or contact human resources.  I also have two friends that are talent agents.  

One got his start without any college by being the VIP manager at a hot night club.  He worked with many athletes and stars from in town and those traveling through.  He made friends with many of them.  He ended up quitting his job at the night club and started representing his friends. He also works on scouting up and coming athletes at colleges and high schools.

My other friend went to school to be a talent agent and he now lives in LA.  He gets most of his experience interning and getting to know as many people in as many areas as possible.  He makes sure everyone knows him and his business.  He has a few promising singers and actors under his belt.
