  1. You can go back to FAFSA website and go to the link to check the status of your application. I know mine told me it was processed and gave me the EXPECTED FAMILY CONTRIBUTION amount.  Good luck on that!

  2. Fafsa will not tell you how much aid you get.  Fafsa is just the name of the application.  You will find out how much aid you get from a letter from  your college called an "Award Letter".  It will detail exactly what kinds and the amounts of your financial aid.

I would contact your school and ask what they need from you to get an award letter.  Often times they  have a bunch more paperwork for you to fill out besides the fafsa.

PS: Be sure to do your fafsa MUCH earlier next year.  Do it in Feb/March.  June is really late and after most state and school deadlines.... your fin aid won't be as much.

  3. FAFSA will not tell you, your school will tell you.  How you will find out depends on your school.  Some schools send a paper award letter in the mail.  Some now send them electronically.

My best advise is to contact the financial aid office at the school you plan to attend.  Verify they have received your FAFSA, see if they need any additional documentation and ask them how you will be notified of your award.
