I need help with MAJOR bf problems?!?! ?

Question

my boyfriend is too nice to other girls!! whenever were talking he pays attention to me but when were walking i look up at him and hes there cheking out this other blond girl walking by!! i tell him to not do that and he says ok.. were driving and this pretty brunnette girl is walking by, i look at him and hes staring at her with his eyes wide open like shes the best thing since sliced bread.. i tell him to stop and he does but he ALWAYS does it behind my back!! at his work he is too friendly towards other girls and it always leads to them "crushing" on him and happily calling his name as if hes the best thing that ever hit this earth!! its annoying mee this has been happening since we were in middle school!! we just graduated highschool and Ive known him for a looong time and when i first met him every girl in the class liked him.. this blond girl and him were "best friends" and people would joke about them dating!! all the while supposedly "he liked me".. I just dont get why that is?? he could have ANNNYYYY girl but why does he choose to be with me when there are TONNNSSS of other girls that he can choose from.. i mean hes "friendlY' to them and checks them out so why doesnt he just leave.. its pisssing me off!! and then when im around "guys" he gets all defensive and jellous and stuff.. i dont get it?? why cant he just stop looking at other girls and get that if he does i want have to look else where for attention!!

am I being reasonabel here?? I mean why is this such a hard thing for him too do.. why cant he NOT be freindly with other girls and not look at them?? if a guy is with you there suppose to pay ALL attention to you not to anyone else or lead the other girls on i mean what is up with that??

It's fine, I think. Obviously your boyfriend enjoys girls. Just let it go. Break up with him if it seriously irritates you. Simple.

Honey, guys LOOK.  It's programmed at a genetic level -- guys like to look.  They are visual.  It's no slam on you, and it's completely unrealistic to think that a guy who cares about you "only has eyes for you."  

As long as he's just looking, then what difference does it make?  Are you seriously suggesting that he can only be friends with 50% of the human race, and that the other 50% is completely off limits?   Isn't that just a tad unreasonable?

A guy is expected to honor his relationship by not embarrassing himself and his companion by oogling other girls.  Perhaps he needs a few lessons in discretion -- i.e., no head-swiveling, no drooling, no staring, etc.  A girl is expected to ignore the guy getting an eyeful, and take the opportunity to "check out the scenery" on her own :-)

Remember, it doesn't matter where he works up his appetite, as long as he comes home for dinner :-)

Hello Mrs. Cullen [hehe ^_^]. You are being completely reasonable. I wouldn't want MY man checking out other girls either ESPECIALLY in front of me. It sounds like your boyfriend is really full of himself and has a massive ego. Of course guys will stare at girls but the whole "overly friendly" thing is out of line to me. I'm sure he could have anyone but after all he DID choose you and not them. Don't get down on yourself either, you look reall pretty to me. Twilight fans for the win :]

He's allowed to be friends with other girls. Try not to be so possesive. Talk to him about when it's just you two alone and see what's going on. Guys are attracted to beautiful girls, whether or not they have a girlfriend, it's just a fact of life.

Just talk to him, and see what happens. You've known him for a long time, this relationship must be worth something.
