I know that these symbols are part of the Arabic language, but I want to know if they are part of the Persian language script as well:

، - comma

؛ - semicolon

؟ - question mark

Ùª - percent

Ù« - decimal indicator

Ù¬ - thousand seperator

۔ full stop

Please tell me, if any of these symbols aren't part of the persian script.

  1. they are w/ a few modifications!

yeah so u've got them all turned upside down inside out and by that I mean u HAVE got them right, like the question mark! haha

anyways...if I'm not mistaking our thousand seperator is , the english comma and as she said above me decimal is dash /.

    have fun!

  2. yeah, all are used also in Persian script, but about decimal indicator i should say, when using English numbers in a Farsi Script,we use"."as the decimal indicator like in"2.5"..but when using Farsi forms of the numbers we use"/" like in:2/5"(sorry my keyboard doesn't have farsi forms of the numbers, but it is the same as Arabic numbers)
