I need help with RLS (restless leg Syndrome)?

I have been suffering from RLS for years now. Since I was a kid, I get these strange sensations in my legs when I go to bed at night. It happens at least once a week and I struggle to fall asleep badly. I looked it up on the internet, but there seems to be no real solution.

Can anybody help! It is a very irritating thing!

  1. I know how annoying it is, I get it badly in both my legs and my arms! One thing that does seem to help is getting plenty of fresh air and exercise (a long walk after dinner for me) and lots of calcium- I drink a pint of milk a day, as well as what I put on my cereal and in my tea.

  2. RLS is usually a sign of a magnesium deficiency. You can purchase over the counter magnesium at any health food store. Try to make sure it is all natural...meaning no fillers. Talk to your local health food practitioner, they ,may also be able to recommend something for you to rest easier. I hope this helps you some...good luck!

  3. Hi There,

You could increase your electrolyte salts with glucosade (I think that's how it is spelt)  I use to have the restless legs thing at night and that's what I had suggested to me and it worked. Best of luck.
