I need help with Yahoo! Answer?

I was just messing around on Yahoo! Answer and I clicked something and now it said "User doesn't alow IM" I think it would be cool to IM people on Yahoo. But I don't know how to change it back to alow IM. Please help me!

go  to your ansers profile next to your pic you should see  {edit} click on it and toward the bottom of the page you can select what you need

click on my profile on the top right side of the page

then go to edit my info

scroll down until you get to privacy

if you want messenger click on messenger

If messenger is not checked then it will say

you are not allowed to messenger

By clicking on messenger it will show your (im)( id)

Go to your profile you should be able to fix it there

Go to your profile (Just click your name and it will bring you there) Near the top of this next page there is a blue box with your info in it, at the bottom right hand corner of the box there are two links: 'public view of my profile' and 'edit my info' click on edit.

Scroll down about half way and you'll see a 'privacy' section, make sure the third little white box down is checked, that will allow people to IM you. Good luck, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. :)
