I need help with a 98 jeep cherokee sport?

I need new fender flares, and i have a jeep magazine with fender flares in it but it says they r for a 84-96 jeep cherokee, so i need some advice from someone who knows if that model fender flares will fit on my jeep, if not can i buy some for my model jeep?

Yes you can buy some for your model jeep, or you can get some aftermarket wider flares from Bushwacker.  Many jeepers actually put TJ flares on their XJs when they lift them, so there is that option.  Google TJ flares on XJ.

The 84-96 are the earlier model's flares and won't look good on yours.  Try to find the correct model's at the very least.  Otherwise you could make them work if you really wanted to, they just s***w on with metal screws.
