How do you know when your ovulating so you know the time is right for you to get pregnant?

- elevated waking temperature

- ovulation pain

- increased s*x drive

- "fertile" cervical fluid

To be sure you would have to "chart" which means taking your temperature every morning at the same time and charting it to see a pattern.

Sign up for http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ they will do all the hard work for you and will work out your ovulation day if you input the necessay data. Buy a bbt (basal body temperature) thermometer from boots for about £10. After putting in data for a couple of cycles you will start to see a pattern and on what day of the month you usually ovulate and therefore the most likely time you will get pregnant!

Hello, my wife went to babycenter.ca and typed in ovulation calculator and that is how we knew when to try.  We were pregnant within 2 months.

Ovulation is always around 14 days before your NEXT period, so that will help narrow down the best days to TTC. You'll be most fertile in the 5 days before ovulation until 2 days after it.

i know there are lots of things you can do...but my ovulation time changed every month. So for us we just had s*x every other day after my period, and even with my husband having a very low sperm count due to medication he was on we were pregnant in about 6 months. Thats what worked for us...Good Luck!
