I need help with a fraction?

i need to 1.16 and 1.08 into a fraction and i also need to know how to do it. its for the answer what is the vertex of a quadratic equation but my on-linee studies will only all me to enter a fraction. Thank you for all the help also if you have any extra time i need help with this stuff alot please aim me @ jabthepun (i have had it forever )

1.16= 1 and 16/100 or 1 and 4/25 or 29/25

1.08= 1 and 8/100 or 1 and 1/25 or 26/25

Basically you see the number of decimals u have. Example above has 2 so it'll be over 100 (2 zeros) and so on.

1.16 = 1 16/100 = 1 4/25 ( = 29/25)

1.08 = 1 8/100 = 1 2/25 ( = 27/25)

going from fractions to vertex of a quadratic equation seems like a giant step.  good luck.
