I need help with a good workout for getting back in surfing shape?

  3. Swimming is a must... also running, pull-ups, paddling... practicing popups.. indo boards are good (grabs and throws ect.)..alot of core exercise (sit-ups ect.) balance exercises (yoga...exercise ball)...

    I bought this dvd called "surf stronger" and it worked pretty well for me.. i'm not i'm bad shape at all... but it broke the monotony of my usual workout. I would recommend it too.

    longboard skateboard also helps a TON... its extremely fun,it builds confidence in yourself both on the street and in the water.. if you dont do any of the things I put I would suggest not passing up the longboard.
