I need help with a idea for girl scouts we are trying to get some?

We set up father/daughter fishing day one year...........another year we had the girls version of the box car derby that dad could help them with..............we had nature day where the dads took them to a day in the woods for a hike..........we also had sports day where it was daughter against fathe in softball and basketball.

one of our local troops had a daddy daughter cake decorating contest this last weekend it was a blast!..we are planning a daddy daughter camp trip this summer.. of course dances are fun, if your guys are less than enthusiastic about girly stuff try like a me and my guy building project have the dads teach them to use tools, or a me and my guy sports event dads agains girls or some thing like that.

Scavenger hunt, build your own pizza or ice cream party, how about a small woodworking project the girls could do with their dads..or any kind of project where they create something together.

Theme party like Luau or Mexican night..costume party, etc. Sounds like fun!

A local Service Unit in my area hosted a paper airplane derby. It was cheap, easy, and both the dads and daughters had a blast. Each dad/ daughter couple brought their own crayons, colored pencils, and/ or markers. The paper was provided. Awards were given for longest distance, longest time in the air, and artistic design. The dads got really into it with some looking online and in books from the library for the best airplane design. The organizer said that if she does it again, she will make sure more leaders attend to help with judging and organizing the dads and girls for the races.
