  1. Do you mean you need to write a lesson plan? Or you need ideas for an art project?

    Lesson Plan:

Have the date, ratio of children/adults

    Learning Aim

The Plan including resources and health and safety

Then an evaluation at the end of how it went and any changes you'd make if this was repeated.

Make sure you write notes on what the children did and learnt!

    Ideas:

Free craft-have loads of cereal boxes, bottle lids etc then glitter, glue, paint and things. The children can make whatever they want such as houses, cars, trains etc...this encourages free expression rather than 'make this' where child doesnt really use their imagination.

Hand print rainbow-a project with a small group-can make a big painting made with handprints to go on the wall-great to talk about colour mixing!

Printing: Thin layer of paint children can make patterns with fingers, combs, toothbrush etc and then push a piece of paper lightly ontop-this will print pattern on the paper!

  2. A good exercise to do is to take a polystyrene tray and cut lines into the side. And then get them to string wool across.

Another thing you can do is used hand prints to make a bird, or a giant class mobile.

    The world is your oyster!

  3. Use some matchbox cars, have the kids roll the tires through some paint and then roll it onto paper. Especially enjoyed by boys.

Use shaving cream, on a table or whatever and let them "finger paint" with it, could add some paint powder for color then press a piece of paper over it to get a print
