hi,

I need help with this poem below

Storms sweep over

the deep blue sea

no more runnning, sloshing, or collecting shells

Fun has been replaced

Waves form waiting

to erase what;s left

on the beach

Clouds move in

dark ones at that

and a young girl stands

dripping in her flowered suit

hair tied up

She;s motionless

with only four words

"Can I keep him?"

And the bird lies in her arms

as the storms sweep over

(Pruett, Amanda, "The Bird").

Could anyone explain two conflicts in this poem to me?

It would be appreciated if the answer is comprehensible and quick

Please, answer ASAP
