I need help with a sliding door.

I have sliding patio doors. Their old but the doors themselves are in great shape. Is it possible to purchase the runner that goes across the bottom as the door is starting to stick badly and the rollers on the door are very worn. Where can i purchase these 2 parts the runner and the rollers. please help if you have any ideas. Do I have to go to the expense of a whole new door?

I would swing by the nearest home depot with some pics of the door and frame and see what they say.

You never need to replace doors unless they are rotten. I would go to a company who sells doors and buy new rails from them. These days they have so many good ideas turned into products that you could buy better rails than before and they should be easier to fit.

If you know what brand of door it is check the internet for any information the manufacturer might have. If you don't know what company made it check the glass and door frame for any identifiable tags or lettering. Most companies have doors and windows tagged for future replacement and trouble shooting.
