I need help with baby names!?

Question

I am due in a few weeks and had originally planned to name my son Aidan. I didn't realize how popular this name is and I don't want him to go to school with several other Aidans. Now I have no idea what to name him and I am frustrated. I can't find anything that I like. Kai is a name I am leaning towards. Does anyone have any suggestions for boy names or opinions on Kai? Any help would be awesome, thanks!!!

I love the name Kai - but for a girl.

Maybe if you like the name Kai, you can name him Kaidan or Kaiden. That way, you still have Aidan/Aiden still in the name.

I named my baby Aydan also thinking that it would be different and am finding that there are sooo many out there. Kai is very cute and I only know of 1 other person with that name...Another option is adding a letter to Aidan like Kaidan, Braidan, etc.

Allen and Alec begin and are similar to Aiden.

I use to work with a girl named Kai, so to me that is more of a female name. Kyler, Kaiden, or Kadell maybe.

Other names I like: Wesley, Garrett, Dominic, Duncan, Russell, Travis, Rowan, Keenan, Ross, Landen, Troy, Trevor, & Blake.

Aidan is actually the most popular boy's name now. It wouldn't appear so to look on the SSI baby name chart but if you count the various spellings you're gonna have a lot of little boys & girls running around with essentially the same name (there's Aiden, Aidan, Aeden, Ayden and Aedan). Kai is cute but also becoming popular for both genders.

I really like Kai also. If you'd like a name in the same vein how about these names:
