  1. there is a fun game I play with my son, we have flash cards and uno cards while we are playing uno the person whose turn it is can not go until they get the flash card answer right. put a time limit on it 10 or 20 seconds and sing the jeopardy song.

also there are a lot of online math games hat are fun. Good Luck

  2. in my math class we got to work with a group of friends and make a math game that will be fun so kids in the summer can play with it.you can have her help you make this too.get some index cards,markers/crayons,a light colored poster board and maybe some stuff to decorate with. write numbers 1-10 on the index cards repeativly.draw on the poster board like a game board with numbers 1-10 with a number on each of the squares.write math land at the top of the game board and if you choose a index card out of the pile say with like a 7 on it then your character moves 7 spaces.say it lands on a 5.well 5x7=35 write all the sums on scratch paper and at the end add all the sums the person with the largest sum at the end is the winner!!

  3. flash cards, tri dominos, (great for math), dominos even, playing card games like black jack but call it 21..it will help with adding and subtracting...go to the zoo if possible, walks, parks, keep active, swimming, try not to watch too much tv..that is never good, bike riding, you can try playing pretend school. You are the teacher and have worksheets for math from workbooks and get stickers for good completed ones. have her read you books...tell her to teach you sometime how to do math problems..she will be entertained by this if you pretend you can't figure out a question (make sure you know she will know how to solve it first) so she can explain to you in her own words how to solve it..this will help with memory and process thinking..so next time she has to do the question she will think about how she showed you ..and remember...its' a great learning tool for kids!

  4. Most kids that age love make-believe and doing lots of stuff outdoors. I don't think you will need a lot of planned, structured activities. Just be out going and it will come naturally. You can practice math with her in so many fun ways. Ex. If you play a game and keep score say "I have 10 points and you have 12 points so how many more points do you have than me? how many points do we have together? etc."
