  1. Sorry to be boring but you should choose your own 'theme', and secondly, I hate "themes" - just go with something you either love or that expresses who you are, what makes you happy when you walk into a room? What colours? Textures (like faux fur, suede, etc)? or cool lighting or masses of pictures or a minimalist environment?

The options are endless unfortunately, anyway, you are supposed to be asking the questions, so my answer is,

    1) I still can not pick a theme for you (well if I knew you well enough I probably could take a guess but I don't so this ones a no go)

    2) Pick any colour you love a lot and go with it, you can either make items accents of your favorite colour (like a purple lamp, desk chair and cushions) and the rest of the room neutrals (whites, creams, beiges, even black) or you can go nuts with it, but for goodness sake don't pick a colour you aren't that keen on it is your space you should feel fabulous in it

    3) http://shopping.yahoo.com/s:Bed%20in%20a...

also try places like bizrate etc that list for loads of companies much quicker than going from site to site searching, but don't forget places like target, crate and barrel, outblush etc. However you are 16 so I'd be heading here http://www.wakeupfrankie.com/ , its totally girly and gorgeous and if you don't get any ideas there, well try the links at the end of this post.

    4) other than ikea, you could op shop (thrift store) for pieces and paint them, it is easier than most people think and if you change the handles you can make some seriously ugly pieces gorgeous in no time flat for less than $30

Ok, try some of these sites for room inspiration...

    http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/

    http://teensthemes.com/

    http://www.target.com/Dorm-Furniture

    http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/cat...

    http://www.bhg.com/decorating/

    http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/decorating/

I am no longer allowed to put in huge lists of links so google some of these if you are still stuck

    BedBath&Beyond

    habitat Uk

    PBTeen

and somewhere on the HGTV website there will be a link to the show Find Your Style, if you are still stuck to know what you want to do with your room, there is a quiz on the find your style page that helps you find out what style you actually are, should help you figure out what you'll love in your room.   Oh and while you are there go to the Colin and Justins Home Heist site and go to the photo gallery there are around 20 homes they have done over so far but they do the most stylised over the top makeovers, mostly adultish but some are really fun, worth a look!

    Good Luck
