I currently live in Beach Avenue, Vancouver and there's a bus stop close to us. I want to get to West Broadway 1215 which there is a bust stop over there already.

The problem is I don't know which bus number or route I should take. I have the site http://tripplanning.translink.bc.ca/hiwire?.a=iScheduleLookup&.s=70c264f9 yet I'm still lost

I really NEED major help!!!

  1. expedia.com

    Yahoo it.

Really easy to find out being a local, but i never took a bus anywhere, even a train my whole entire life lol so sorry

  2. A better way to look up bus routes is to use Google Maps. Its easier to use than the translink site, and just as reliable. Click get directions. In A type in your address and in B type in west broadway 1215. Then in the drop down box pick Take Public Transit.

Very simple when you actually try it for yourself.

  3. It depends where on Beach Avenue you are located.  Go to the same website and click on the "Trip Planner" tab.  Type in your location (i.e. Beach @ Thurlow) in the left box and type 1215 West Broadway in the right box.  When you have filled in these, the date and time, click on "next step".  You will be given three choices.

The bus that goes down your street is the C21, a shuttle bus.

  4. The EASTBOUND C21 bus stops on Beach Ave. and Burnaby, Cardero, Nicola, Jervis, Bute, or Thurlow St. You have to get off on Thurlow St. otherwise it goes into Downtown Vancouver. Walk to Burrard St. and Harwood St.; it'll be before the Burrard Bridge. From there, take the SOUTHBOUND 22 bus to Broadway St. On Broadway, you can take the EASTBOUND 9 or 17 bus right to Broadway St. and Alder St.
